Birthdays

It's my sister's birthday today, it's kind of
a sad day. She lives in Greece and I don't
get to see her a lot. This morning I called
her and we talked for an hour, it felt like
I was right there with her!

The funny thing about this is the fact that
she completely forgot about my birthday
last month. Well she and everybody else,
except my kids, parents and my favorite
Canadian relative.

I always remember birthdays, I used to send
out flowers and cards etc. I stopped doing
that. Not because I want something in return,
but just 'cause people don't seem to care.

It doesn't matter to me anymore, I'll keep
remembering the birthdays of those who
are important to me, that's me!
