Empty?

A new day, new chances, yeah right!
It's just the same old fucking thing,
me and the kids, well two of them.
I need to find a goal.. I already found
one, but as usual I go too fast. I need to
slow myself down all the time, or the, new
found, goals will disappear just as fast as they
have arrived.
Do you ever get the feeling that some huge part
of your life is missing, but it's right around the
corner, almost close enough for you to reach, but
you have to cross a line... Crossing that line seems
simple, but once crossed, there's no way back and
you might end up leading the life you have always been
afraid of.
Every day is a step closer to the borderline, all I have
to do is take the step, why am I so afraid?

A USA friend of mine wrote about it in the past. She said that she found an interesting book called "The Bipolar Disorder Survival Guide" by David J. Miklowitz, PhD. She found it tremendously helpful; it talks about meds and treatments, but deals heavily with behavior mod therapy and practical ways to help monitor the swings and in-between states that are precarious.
I hope it could be helpful for you too.
I don't know what to do or what to say about it...
I only can give you a big hugh! ;-)
Love,
Simy
Dear Simy,
I've read so many books and found that the perfect therapy is to accept it. Just go with the flow, don't panic whenever I feel depressed. I do have to be carefull with making choices, 'cause I never know
if it's a true feeling I'm having or maybe I'm over reacting.
Thanks for the hug.
How's Italy this time of year?? I would die for a real cappucino :-)
I'd give up a whole lot to be in Italy with you, or any other place.
you know who
I can't imagine anybody who'd want to be with me, except for my kids.
But, I have to say, it's nice to know.
While you're waiting for the real cappuccino in Italy, I can send it by e-mail... Just kidding!
I'm glad to read you're better now.
Sorry for my last "hugh".... I meant to say... HUG!!! ;-)
Simy!
I might just come over and hold you to that cappucino offer, the west coast is still on my "places to visit" list!
Summer 2007 sounds kind of perfect to me, I want you to meet my kids!
Huge hug LOL
