Once in a while - J.A. Aarntzen

Once in a while
Someone might ask me about you
Once in a while
I might think of the way it had been
And once in a while
I could even feel some regret

Once in a while
I can see us at the start
Once in a while
I might remember how good it was
And once in a while
I might shed a tear for those days

But now I wouldn’t change anything
And I look forward to what tomorrow brings

And now we follow different paths
That I know will never cross again
Oh it is good to have fond memories
But it is better to have future plans

Once in a while
I may pull out your photograph
Once in a while
I may remember the sound of your voice
And once in a while
I imagine feeling you in my arms

But now I don’t want to be with you
And what I want in life is something new

And now we follow different paths
That I know will never cross again
Oh it is good to have fond memories
But it is better to have future plans

Prelude/Angry young man - Live from Long Island 1982

WOW, it's working, LOL.
I ran into this video and 'cause I was
just talking about it, I thought I'd try to
share it on this Blog, instead of linking to
it.
Nice!! You can listen to music while
reading!

Another day!

Good morning all!

Today will be a nice day, I believe.
I slept for 9 hours (I love those pills :D )
I feel good, and I have tons of energy
I need to express in some way. Since
it's my Dad's 60th birthday I shouldn't
have a problem!

The three oldest are in school till 2:30
It's just me and my little, adorable, cutest,
2,5 years old, heart breaking angel :D
I think I'll hit the shower in a few minutes
and walk to my parents'
My mom will pick the boys up from school
this afternoon, so I have all the time in the
world!

Not much to tell really, I'll try to do better tomorrow!

Have a great day!!!!

Song quote of the day 10/16/2006

For no one - Paul McCartney

Your day breaks, your mind aches
You find that all her words of kindness linger on
When she no longer needs you

She wakes up, she makes up
She takes her time and doesn't feel she has to hurry
She no longer needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

You want her, you need her
And yet you don't believe her when she says her love is dead
You think she needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

You stay home, she goes out
She says that long ago she knew someone but now he's gone
She doesn't need him

Your day breaks, your mind aches
There will be times when all the things she said will fill your head
You won't forget her

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

Special note : Paul wrote this one by himself
even though there are credits given to John lennon.
That might be because it has the same kind of story
as the story behind "Girl" and Paul was inspired by
that song in some way.

I always listen to this song with headphones on, and I
turn the right speaker off, it's recorded in stereo, the
vocals are on the left.... Such an amazing voice.
Paul wrote this song while he was on a ski trip, I recall
he wrote it in the bathroom :D
The original song title was "Why did it die" clearly
it's about Jane Asher.

I was obsessed with this song when I was 7 years old,
weird!
