I won't be blogging, in case you'll all miss me! It's the big day, I'll meet the psychiatrist who is supposed to be curing me, I wish him/her a great time with the likes of me! After we have to race ourselves to the hospital to be in time for my son's EEG. So, see you on Thursday.
of course you will be needing a song tomorrow, let's see what I have to offer you....
How about some Billy Joel? :D I'm "into" Billy Joel since I was about a month old (really!) but I only knew his voice and pictures on album covers until a given day somewhere in '87 or '88, I was about 13 years old. A Dutch TV channel aired the Live in Leningrad concert, I was blown away by it, Billy was all I expected him to be and even more.
This video gives you a good view of the total show, it's a Beatles song :-) Enjoy it!!!!
Hmmz the Blog won't accept the Greek language, too bad.
I think you might want a translation, I'll try! My body, tonight you defeated me again and conquered my heart Flaming hot darkness this loneliness within me My miserable body, I can't control you any longer
My body my body created from mud My body you do anything you want with my mind
My body, tonight you have revolted left me without a soul The Avenging Goddesses will come at you wherever you go My body, you will sink underneath any road you walk on
My body my body created from mud My body you do anything you want with my mind
It sounds better in Greek!
Let's write it down in a phonetic way.
Soma mou apopse pali nikises ke ti kardhia mou lijises avto skotadhi mesa mou i monaxia soma mou kaimeno dhen se oriso pja
Soma mou soma mou ftiachmeno apo pilo Soma mou kanis o, ti thelis sto mjalo. Soma mou soma mou ftiachmeno apo pilo Soma mou kanis o, ti thelis sto mjalo.

The first and the last time I quote a Greek song, LOL I love Greek music, but this takes too much time :D
I Like to watch movies, but lately I haven't seen any good ones. The ones where you have no idea where the story leads to, sharp dialogue, stylish. I'm talking about movies like "The Game" or perhaps even "The life of David Gale". Now I have finally found another one I like...... and not that many people agree with me! I read reviews where it's been called a Pulp Fiction rip off, so? I have seen plenty of Die Hard rip offs (replace the building for a bus and you have Die Hard on the road in Speed) but no one complains about it.
This movie I saw is called Lucky number Slevin
It's supposed to be a thriller, but I have been laughing from the start till the end, so many clever, quotable, dialogues. Maybe it's a bit too clever for most? Lucky Number Slevin would be too clever for its own good if it weren't so ....... clever.
Check the movie out and tell me if you share my enthusiasm!
